Flower Arranging Seminar
Tropical Arrangement
Please join Lorraine Walsh and Judy Dickstein for a flower arranging seminar. With the intent of warming up your February, the first seminar will be the creation of a Tropical arrangement.
The cost remains at $35.00 and the signup deadline in one week prior to the event. We will provide the flowers and the container for each seminar and will need time to plan the amounts needed as well as purchase the materials
If you are new to these seminars a brief review of the rules, mechanics, and conditioning will be included
As in the past, this is a ‘friends and family’ event with participants not required to be a member of the club. Please plan to attend these get togethers where you can chat with friends, enjoy the delights of flowers in the dead of winter and take home a bouquet to brighten your day.
Please plan to bring a beverage as light refreshment will be offered.

Flower Arranging With Seniors
Anticipating Summer
Enjoy flowers and conversation at “Flower Arranging with Seniors” held eight times a year at Willcutt Commons, 91 Sohier St., Cohasset. The purpose is to demonstrate what can be created using supermarket flowers; to teach basic design techniques and offer helpful hints; and to discuss the types and care of flowers. This is a fun program, offering not only the opportunity to make something pretty but also to socialize and, perhaps, get to know somebody new. This will be a face to face event. Please make sure you bring your mask.
Each program is held on a Thursday, 1:30-2:30 at Willcutt Commons. The cost is 5.00. Attendees should make reservations though Cohasset Elder Affairs in advance of the scheduled date. Cohasset Elder Affairs announces each program through their “Cohasset VISTA” newsletter, their website, and printed flyers posted at Willcutt Commons.
